We had an excellent May Days in 2009, 2010. and 2011.

Let's make 2012 even better.

International Workers Day is celebrated throughout the world by workers and their families. We will be remembering the struggle of those who have gone before us, enabling us to benefit from the degree of social justice we now enjoy. It is a day for expressions of solidarity.

It's also a day to prepare ourselves for the months and years ahead as the ruling class in this country try to make working people pay for the financial mess that they have created. The great prizes of organized workers over the generations - health care and education for example - are under direct attack by the rich as they try to make us pay for their gambles.

Join us on Saturday May 5th from 11 am outside the Guildhall on the High Street in celebration of this great day of ours.
