We had an excellent day on May Day 2009.

As in previous years, we had Someone at the Door samba band who certainly made sure heads were turned.

As part of the campaign to keep the post office in public hands, CWU colleagues joined us in numbers and made sure the city knew that there was a threat to our post office services.

The theme for the day was health and safety in the workplace and hundreds of red balloons were distributed during the day.
